On Friday 7th July, the children, parents and families of Winster School enjoyed a French breakfast of croissants, pain au chocolate, crepes and other French cuisine as part of their week in school focusing on ‘Diversity in other faiths and countries’. The children in KS2 have been learning French all year, so were able to practise their verbal skills during the breakfast. The older children have also taught the younger children how to sing ‘Head, shoulders, knees and toes’ in French.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and we are sure there will be more of these in the future.
The money raised from the breakfast will be used to buy board games for a new club in school.
